Officially launched on January 31st. 2007, it is our goal to take learning beyond the class room, for our student members to develop critical thinking and leadership qualities that are essential in the energy industry. Student dedication coupled with the support of SPE and UTT, it is our intent to produce graduates with sound industry acumen who are prepared to take the energy industry forward.
The student chapter recognizes that our members must not only be technically proficient but also socially aware and dedicated to community development. Most recently our Humanitarian Committee undertook a charity initiative to support less privileged children in South Trinidad.
